My town has tree litter from last Autumn's broken branches, still somewhat green, all over the place. I consider it a value boost compared to my dubious tax dollars, to burn some of it in my backyard. This machete eats this softer, deciduous tree stuff - big, satisfying chips flying through the air...

The 2nd from the top - brown micarta and mosaic pins - how old is it? did you remove the finger guard or did it come like that?

I am not the first owner, but the original owner said he couldn’t remember exactly but knows it’s 2015 or older. The guard was not there when I received it. However, I sent it to Andy to thin out the blade, so the full height grind is new.
