Special Edition 2000 wood inlay

The latest word I have is that they are assembling some small woods now and will be shipping soon, probably next month. Large ones should follow the month after.

Things have been a little backed up lately but they seem to be catching up. Maybe I'll be able to whittle down some of my waiting lists.

Well I received a call from Bridget at CRK and she said my Small 2001 Wood Inlaid Sebenza is being shipped out today! She said that the wood is Curly Maple... I ordered it last July, 2000 and I'm sure it will be worth waiting for...

I'll let ya know when I get it and try to post a couple pictures.

Bought this large with black walnut from Larry at Knifeart.com, to nice to resist. (The pictures are Larry's, thanks!)

I had the chance to pick up a few special things, so it is on the way across the globe to Taiwan!

Just thought I would bring this back to the top so that some of the newer people to this forum could see the great pictures posted here.

A personal favorite, 2001 Small Ebony.

The one with the heart of gold! I picked up a small left hand black walnut inlay with Delvin Thomas black and white ladder damascus. I got it a Blade Show West. Being left handed is nice, 99.99% of the stuff I see is for righties and not for me except to admire. I was so smug at the CRK booth until I saw to my amazement that they had 3 left hand smalls! They have absolutely no mercy! You know the rest. After that all control melted away and the walnut is in my left pocket as I write this.

I just picked up this 2001 Small Box Elder with dual thumbstuds. This is my first Sebenza, and I think it's pretty neat. :)

Can the Woodies be refurbished just like the "regular" Sebbies?

Kevin, congrats on your first Sebenza. And what a beauty it is.

I am sorry i do not have a answer to your question, i do not think they do. However you would have to check.

I'm hoping this arrives before the weekend :)

I bought it from TallPaul, the scan is his. I've carried it almost every day since.

Hermie,

thanks, I really like the wood, it is Buckeye Burl - a Californian wood I believe.
