The Alan Davis custom knife picture thread

Here you go Dennis. My newest Alan Davis and some pens that were made for me years ago by a friend who unfortunately is no longer with us but used the same Afzillia Xylay.

Fantastic. That folder looks great with the pens!! Now just waiting for Lhpanther to get his Ironwood folder and post some pics. I just saw some of the custom orders Alan finished which he posted on FB. Nice looking ones.

Yeah i saw those custom orders too i like the little warnie. Not normally my thing but just looked good

I saw about twenty of Mr. Davis's Knives in person yesterday at a shop in Scottsdale, AZ. These pictures do not do what I saw in person justice.

Update: This one has a new home.

Here's a custom order Alan finished for me in September of 2013. Scales are giraffe bone, scales are silver twill and the blade is 3.5 inches of beautiful HHH Feather Damascus. Hope these pics do justice to the knife for you Akapennypincher.

Here is another Alan Davis folder he made for me to my specs. I call it Big Blue!!! I bought the first folder Alan put up for sell on Bladeforums and then started having him make me knives to my specs. He just works his magic and BINGO, you have the exact knife you want!! Kevin

Great looking knives being posted here!! Here's a little desk knife I received from Alan in August of 2013:

My daughter told me it was nothing more than a glorified letter opener. That was until she realized it was so sharp you could shave with it in the morning and perform surgery in the afternoon!!!

(Update 12/6/2017: This one has been gifted)

Received my latest folder from Alan yesterday. It's a beautiful gent's sized flipper with a 3.1875" blade. The Damascus is Chad Nichols' hailstorm pattern. Scales are really nicely colored Mammoth bark and the bolsters are textured M3 metal composite. Flipping action is perfect ... as is everything else about this knife.

So far, I've only been able to snag this one. Someone keeps snagging most of his work moments after Alan posts it. ;)
