Such a cool looking knife!
Yeah, I agree.

Great utility function in the design, too. Precise piercing power!

It reminds of a Japanese kitchen knife pattern called a kiritsuke, or another pattern called a bunka, and these patterns are quite fun in my home cooking adventures.

But, the shape lends itself well to outside-the-kitchen maneuvers, too. I don't skin a lot of animals, so the lacking edge belly is not missed by me, but in my use it does great for the majority of my needs....except getting the last of the peanut butter out of the bottom of a nearly empty jar - not so good for that.

I'd like to get my hands on a Daimyo someday: https://fiddlebackforge.com/collect...e/products/fiddleback-forge-daimyo-model-info

Well thanks to the Fiddleback & Bourbon thread, I now want a Bushboot... Thanks a lot, here take my money!

Seeing all these knives has me drooling. I'm still hunting for my first one, but the models I'd like first seem hard to come by. I'd love a neckmuk, pygmy, or daimyo. If anybody has one sitting around and wants to help a guy out I'd gladly take it off your hands.
