I like your dogs, looks like snoopy! Nice knife tooThat's definitely a cool one Charlie I just got this Dimond Edge in the mail today. I was told it's probably between early 60s to late 70s does that sound right ?? View attachment 736804 View attachment 736805 View attachment 736806
Thanks I got them at a garage sale for $1 lol hard to believe someone put all that work into them little guys to just end up on a table with a $1 price tag on them. So I gave them a home with all my other wood carvings.I like your dogs, looks like snoopy! Nice knife too
Still dreaming of finding one of those sawcut clips, really sweet collection!
I have seen references that state Imperial used the Diamond edge markings from 1960-1967, if that helps any. A nice one!I was told it's probably between early 60s to late 70s does that sound right ??
It looks like a "Hammer Brand" by Imperial, mid 30's-mid 70's based on construction.I have no clue who made it, can't read the tag stamp.... I just know it's pre-1980
Here's a trio of old, traditional barlows...

Thanks for the info. I was surprised it doesn't have half stops. I've only ever own a few TCs from Charlie and the Case & Dimond Edge Barlows I've posted here so I don't know why but I just assumed an old Barlow would have half stops lol.I have seen references that state Imperial used the Diamond edge markings from 1960-1967, if that helps any. Yes, those are all-metal knives! The handle and bolster are one piece, and don't require liners.Charlie, I'm curious about the ones labeled as "Iron Handle." Would those have been all-metal with a simulated "jigging" pattern?
i love the saw cut!! but my soup is my most carried by far, and the sawcut soup wont see light beside pics for now lolI'm finally on the hook for a sawcut bone. I really really envy the soup bone though. I always liked that.
