I finally decided on my bluegill configuration: osage with brass pins. Can't wait!

The original is tan micarta, but there are probably more Osage and brass ones than any other type.I think the original was Osage, light blue liners , front red mosiac and hollow brass rear pin

Yes, but I have made them with a longer handle, doing one right now with a 4” handle and 3” blade. So would the grip be a 3 finger grip on the bluegill?
I got the stretched bluegill with black micarta handles, red liners and red mosiac pinsSo would the grip be a 3 finger grip on the bluegill?
Only a few dollarsWould it be a little more with the the 4 inch handle And three inch blade?
Look at the pictures of the Deluxe Hurley Creek jds1 just posted, it has a 4” handle and 2 3/4” blade.I want some opinions, I like the 4 inch handle, but what about a 2.5 inch blade or just under 3 inches? Any advantages to keeping it under 3 inches? More control? I am so close to pulling the trigger in the Blue Gill.
How are you going to carry it? Pocket or hip? For me, the expected use really dictates what size the knife will be. When not at work, I have really been enjoying carrying a hunter (7 inches overall). It's just right on the hip, but a little large in the pocket. Doable, but not as comfortable as a small folder. I ordered a blue gill to do more small stuff to see if it can replace my folding knife. I'll find out later this year if that is possible....I want some opinions, I like the 4 inch handle, but what about a 2.5 inch blade or just under 3 inches? Sounds good!John, I’m going to take one of each if this deal still stands.
I’ll follow up with an email.
