He didn't. He was referring to the Fox offering. But I guess I can see how he was misunderstood.
Lost all three current polls, but looking forward to "slab covers" poll at 4:00.

That’s an interesting thought, although the first post in this thread does specify that our choice will be from “any slab that GEC currently utilizes,” and I don’t think GEC has ever done any checkered covers, wood or otherwise. (The “scratted” Ancient TC would be the closest thing, I guess.)
 
This place is pretty great. Even when it gets contentious it pretty much stays civil and respectful.
I will say that, to the best of my knowledge, Mike is offering us every option (and there's quite a few) that was made available to him.
 
i would like to see more smooth autumn gold bone covers and i dont need shields in it.
 
I doubt GEC will do scratted bone, checkered wood, or soup bone. If any of these were an option that would be great! So, Ebony with a diamond gets my vote.. satin bolsters/shield/blade.. might as well go all steel liners and pins too

I don't understand why everyone wants ebony. Yes, ebony looks sharp, and I like ebony, but there's a 95% chance they'll be making an ebony option in the normal production run already.

For this next poll, I'm going to vote acrylic, in the hopes that veneer abalone is an option.

I just read what Mike posted, and some comments about what I posted about what Mike posted.
Mikes post that I responded to appeared, to me anyway, to leave a tantalizing ghost of a ray of hope that a miracle may occur.
That's all. No biggie.
