Waiting for mine to arrive....I'm totally biased but the Micarta looks the best of all these RF's to my eyeTo say I am excited would be an understatement!

Perfectly built, amazing ergonomics, and GEC's polished micarta is as perfect as it can be!
YesI did not get any of the 93's from this run but I was wondering if they are Pinchable like mine from the 2019 run ????

Glad you were able to secure one, Will! It is indeed the best. Pictures don't do any justice! Have to hold one in hand to realize how good it is. Also Orleans shield doesn't seem a bit out of place to me anymore, it is absolutely spot on.Waiting for mine to arrive....I'm totally biased but the Micarta looks the best of all these RF's to my eye![]()
I'd say they are pinchable by the design.I did not get any of the 93's from this run but I was wondering if they are Pinchable like mine from the 2019 run ????

My Grail knife and now the GEC!!After quite the journey, this one finally landed. I did not keep any of my Ramsfoot knives from the original run, feeling that they were largely outshined by the Waynorth Lambsfoot on the same frame. That said, I am grateful to have another one in the collection and I couldn't be happier with the one I ended up with.
Shields are wonderful but I feel there is something rather classic about no shield on a swayback frame.

Think it took about 4 days to get from Texas to Helsinki, that's cool. But then...I get told it has cleared customs (not true) then it is being 'sorted' then registered, on the way, no movement for 4 days to make the 400kms journey here...Then told to make customs decl.-even though it had cleared- did it, not accepted, tracking No. OK, address & name OK, values OK but a new EU law demanding a code for all non EU packets but the code has gone AWOL. Posti doesn't know how to find this code- ask Customs. Customs doesn't know-ask Posti. How do I KNOW??? Now after a week of it being in the sorting office I have to wait another week and then try and do the Customs....and if no code the week after it gets returned. I don't think Kafka ever visited here...but he'd recognize this insane, wooden bureaucracy and passive aggression: A code is necessary but no one knows what it is or where to find it....But don't forget, the Digi and A-I world is always better and right.Waiting for mine to arrive....I'm totally biased but the Micarta looks the best of all these RF's to my eye![]()
