It is the cruiser. I have a matching set of all 3 axes they’ve made so far, number 76. I ordered every one of them the day they were first offered but specifically requested this number.

Hey do you know anyone that makes these
Been working on a CS Spike Tomahawk for the last few days. Should have it done tomorrow afternoon. So far it is looking spectacular.
Outta curiosity, are you in Tennessee? That looks like a similar tree to one I saw a guy in Tenn drop with a McCulloch on a different forum.

Here’s a budget Prandi hatchet of mine. I hand scraped the handle and applied a little boiled linseed oil. The handle really warmed up nicely.
I also thinned the bit with a file and finished the edge with ceramic stone. It’s not much but it works well.

Harbor Freight hatchet
Great choice to mod. American hickory handle that is very nicely hung with metal barrel wedges, good quality steel head that sharpens and holds a good edge. I lightly sanded to remove the clear lacquer that was applied and did five coats of BLO. I removed the factory black coating from the butt and head area around the eye. I drilled a hole in the handle for a leather thong, and re-profiled and sharpen the bit. I like the way it turned out. Hard to beat at this price point. Stained the sheath I purchased for $13 with BLO. $26 total for tool and sheath....not bad at all.
