I’m hoping once the passaround gets rolling, and people get to try this out, that there will be some interest. I’ve purposely held off on ordering the steel until I see how it goes.

The Rule#9 blade is about 5", that would be a really nice length blade.

I’m assuming you can choose a different handle material than black micarta? Can you give me an idea of the price point?

All of his standard materials are the same price. Ironwood and brown burlap have upcharges but most are the same price.

I think the Improved Bowie would make a great kitchen knife too, maybe similar and yet different to stretching out the BnT as a parry knife.

I'd be interested w/ ironwood or (especially) bocote if you could do a 4.5-5" blade (preference more towards 5") w/ thickness of 1/16 (anything <.100 would work, but .080-.060 would be ideal)

trying to avoid acquiring more ~2.5-4" fixed blades for the moment
