look at that
been meaning to grab one of thoseGot a new Kwaiken from Phillip Patton. It’s just under 1/8” thick. It’s a real slicer! Now I have a matching set. I’ve had one in 3/16”for a while.
You should, Phillip does excellent work. These are compact, and easy to EDC: OAL 8 1/8”, 4 1/8” blade. I dig his compound grinds. AEBL 62 RC.been meaning to grab one of those
Nice!Beautiful, Gusbuster
You might enjoy this. Years ago I contacted Wally Hayes, a Canadian ABS Master Smith, from an ad in one of the knife rags. We hit it off and he agreed to make me an inexpensive neck knife that he had advertised in the magazine.
A short time later on he called me up and asked me if I would mind just letting him make me something he thought I would like. I said "Are you kidding? Of course."
A short time later I received my first knife from a master smith, made from his forged damascus...suitable for neck or belt carry. I was over the moon.
I got to meet Wally many times after that at various Blade Shows...and he was one of the first master smiths I can remember doing a lot of work for police, military and tactical units.
What a great guy.
This is a poor picture of that knife...but it's what I have available on my laptop.

Man, I was at bladeshow and some random guy started telling me about these things, I was able to talk with Zach at his booth, and he won me over on it.EDDAKA never thought I would see a ZW pry in here. Z-Wear has been awesome.
That "Patina" finish came with it. Looks cool though, haha.EDDAKA I've had one on my work vest for 4 years. I could not agree more with how useful it is. Yours come with that patina or is that all you?
