It is an Arabic saying I've heard some in the Levant region: "Everything is Written."

It can mean a few things. I usually use it in conversation to mean something like: don't worry about the future. But on a knife it sounds a little more menacing. :)

Down in the Peninsula it’s more commonly a reference to Omniscience. Maybe a conversation for another place and time.
