BladeForums 2024 Traditional Knife

12 Bravo just charged my PayPal $250 for this knife.....can anyone tell me what's going on here? I didn't order one and PayPal is saying I'm responsible for it for some reason....has your account been hacked? I just paid for membership last week and now I'm being billed for $250 and PayPal says they won't cancel it.

that's the name of Spark's business.
I assume you wanted to buy one, and paid for it.
That's all.

No...I don't even know what it is and never asked for one or authorized the withdrawl from my account.
12 Bravo LLC is Spark's company- you've paid the same company before when you bought your basic membership.
The preorder for the 2024 Blade Forums Forum Knife is underway. It's $250 and you pay for it by putting in your username and your desired serial number in the banner at the top of the screen.
It re-directs you to payment, where you can input your paypal information to complete the transaction.

Does any of that sound familiar to you?

Why are you being condescending here? I'll say it again....no, I did not sign up for any knife preorder. I did not put in my username anywhere and I did not choose any serial number. I did not request one of these knives.

How much more clear can I make that to you?

Getting there! Shield not final…and look a nail nick on a sheep 😁

It looks really nice! It also resembles a peanut. Maybe that's a good shape for the shield (as someone already suggested).

Only catch with that is if you make another type of scales for another run then the peanut image won't make sense.

It sure does for this image, though. :-)

Can't wait to meet my new best friend!!!!!

Also, just as a note, you've opened yourself up to the possibility for being scammed yourself, though I don't believe this is what's going on here.
Scammers are using posted email addresses to reach out to individuals directly, pretending to be forum members from sales threads.
you've posted your email at least two times in sales threads.

The only way someone could be trying to steal your money would be if they used your PayPal to purchase a knife here and have it sent elsewhere.
I'm sure Spark Spark can confirm the shipping address that was used.

Not condescending. I'm honestly trying to help.

It's a weird way to steel your money- using your pay pal to buy a knife from a forum that you belong to.
I would guess that if it was actually stolen, the thief probably wouldn't be interested in buying a forum knife with it, but what do I know?
I'm sure Spark will sort it out for you.

My assumption is that I was billed in error for someone else's knife.....I have sent a message through the contact portal here to try to find out what's going on.

I don't meet either requirement listed to be even able to order one of these knives.
