Boker "Tree Brand Classic" & Solingen made traditional knives

The Copper Barlow SFO is my absolute favorite Boker, if that helps. I just ordered a second one last night, to put away.
Thanks for the input! I may have to grab one, especially for the price right now. Barlows and Micarta have both been growing on me recently, so I'll probably be kicking myself if I don't!
They've done a wonderful job with these IMHO. And they feel equivalent to my standard production ones, so the reduced price doesn't seem to have affected any build quality.
That was something I was wondering about, $100 or more off of the regular ones is quite a drop. At a quick glance the steel appears to be the only major difference. Do they come with the zipper cases like the regular ones?

Not sure how they worked the deal with Boker, but at the current reduced price they are a great deal IMHO. I know Boker has been using the O1 tool steel on some of their knives, I have several regular production patterns with O1.

Loving all the copper coming out of Boker Solingen right now.

I like that it’s really dense and doesn’t have any voids, but I agree, a little texture would be nice. I keep thinking I want to add a swedge to my barlow. I don’t think I’m that brave though.
That would look good Bart, but I agree, that would be hard to build the courage to try it. It’s such a thin blade to begin with, and if you mess up the blade you’ve ruined the knife. If you try something with the handle and mess it up at least you still have a knife albeit an ugly one. 😄
