Buck fixed blade Fridays

Rarely mentioned or talked about, the lonely 116...

Oh man, let Buck fixed-blade Friday slip right by me! I was fishing and then watching our HS lose its state championship game last night - good team, but a hard night playing a better team from the western part of the state. Cutting bait on the beach duty for this Buck 121, not much action fishing but time well spent. OH

Of the Buck 100 series, the 118 Personal is the most useful to me. Great design for a skinning and butchering knife for light big game such as Whitetail deer. I have a number of them in my favorite blade steel (440C). The Two-Line below, one I bought from Cal here a good six or so years ago, is my favorite user. Cal had set it up with a terrific edge that I have managed to maintain by touching up with ceramic sticks each time it's used. Some of the others I own also get used, but mostly I have them as back-ups to the Two-Line. OH
