Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

Hey, that looks like my knife!!!

I bought this for my father sometime in the late 80s or early 90s as best I can recall. He had a knife that he had carried since "forever," but one time I was visiting with him and he mentioned that he had lost it. When I got back home I wanted to buy something for him but didn't know much about knives back then, having only a Buck 703, a Vic Woodsman, and a Buck 110 myself. I went shopping and selected this Uncle Henry 885UH for him. I think I did OK! He has since passed on so it's mine to keep and cherish now.
I really like the old Schrades and would like to get into collecting them.

I see you snuck in some 1978 series Parker... errr... uhhh... Schrades too ;) They are really nicely made knives, the bone on them are amazing and the fact that Schrade snuck their stamp on the back of the clip blade when they weren't supposed to is hilarious :D I have (4) of them in my first picture, all mintish with the full etch... the 194 model Little Bandit is my favorite however the green bone "Johnny Muskrat" is technically the first knife that I bought and sparked my interest in collecting :) Nice showing Jeff! I really want a Schrade Walden 171UH but they are pricey and haven't found one to pull the trigger on yet

Looking through the pictures here reminded me of a few more Schrades that I have -- five in total:

Uncle Henry 167 fillet knife, 807UH J.R. Stockman, SP1 lockback, SC505 scrimshaw stockman, 885UH Senior Rancher stockman. The fillet knife and 885UH were given to my father by me, the SC505 was found at a trailhead in Idaho (it's a 1989 model), the SP1 was purchased new long ago and I don't recall any details, and the 807UH (pre-2004) was purchased last year at the local knife shop.
