Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

My EDC last six days, Schrade USA 98OT Ramrod. OH

I carried an Uncle Henry 885 every day for 30 years. Old Timers were everywhere back then, but I never bothered with them, or with any other Uncle Henry's. Because heck, nobody needs two pocket knives, do they? I sure wish I'd have picked a few up while they were so plentiful.

That's the joke of the last couple of decades - yep, all you need is one!! I had several USA made that I carried and more that I gifted, but went nuts when I learned Schrade USA had closed down and the name had been moved offshore. I started hoarding beginning in 2005 (and for the next dozen or so years after that) finding and buying all I could in Lumberyards, Hardware Stores, Pawn & Gunshops, Flea Markets, etc., real glad I did now. OH

I see what you mean Steve, Cal's Punch Spiral is Camillus, there are such small differences- but of which I am sure because of the size of the frame?
If we were on a betting table I'd lay a few coins down as Camillus.

Camillus and Schrade shouldn’t be left out on the 4th of July🇺🇸
You are absolutely right Jim, here is my contribution to our national celebration! OH

Schrade MM2 Minuteman, a companion piece to your Liberty Bell (there is a Paul Revere too, all built on the Ulster 58OT frame).

Imperial was part of the Imperial-Schrade empire at one time. Here is a US Army Bicentennial (one of a three piece set - Navy & Marine Corps being the other two).

ZHoovie ZHoovie Thank you Zach, that pan (my very best) was a gift from a member & poster here on the Porch (cast iron thread - we should revive it soon). Nice Old Timer you have there! OH
Ps he even had my Blade Forums handle engraved on the back of the pan, after a year and a half of cooking it has turned color to match the pan.
