Cal I missed this post, I can see why this would have to be one sitting at the top - would have to be a very desired 165 from all.1967(ish) very early production, serial numbers mixed with the Norm Thompson SFOs and the regular run of Old Timer 165s. This one is the best one that I have and you may not see another one soon, but who knows? The sheath is.... what can I say? Meanwhile, I have gotten word that Michael Little, one of the very most knowledgeable Schrade people, has been VERY ill and we are hoping for a complete and expedited recovery.

(Edit for clarification)
Nice swedge, Zach!!
Schrade made a lot of Delrin-handled knives like yours!! In the thick of the Delrin era, the partnership of Parker-Frost contracted Schrade to make this Liner-lock in gorgeous Red Jigged Bone!!View attachment 2814124View attachment 2814125View attachment 2814126View attachment 2814127
A great knife, with a firm snap, regardless of the Linerlock; and Schrade's incredible edge-holding ability, it is a Beauty!! I found it in a pair of old work jeans out in the garage, and it still slices paper!! So I stropped it and pocketed it today!!
Clearly made in 1978, I hope Parker paid for it - he was quite a shyster!! Ask Bernie Levine about him!!
Regardless of that saga, Schrade made it - an exquisite Jigged Bone knife, in the Delrin Era!!
Thanks, Steve!! A Gem of the late 70s!!Very nice Charlie !
Hidden gems, Jeff; quite beautiful!! You don't see them too often, but they are worth owning!! Nice bunch you've got!!Charlie, those 1978 Parker-Frosts also included 4" stockmen, with the same beautiful jigged bone, in green and brown besides the red you've shown.

There was a muskrat in that series also. I don't presently have any of them. Great bone. Thanks, Charlie, here's the red bone. The jigging is nice and random.

Nice knife, Jeff!! How long is the 832??Probably mid 1970s on that one, Charlie. Same vintage here, but different Delrin.
