Carothers and Guns

Looks like a little split level condo is being built in this tree, if I was a chipmunk this would definitely be my home! I got the chance to hunt all yesterday, walked a few miles and only saw a few does but seeing things like this always fascinate me, plus it’s a reason to stop for a few extra minutes.

Heads up;

Bereli has 9mm 147gr HST2 for $499/1000 with Free Shipping. That's literally the lowest I've seen it since 2019.

Some friends and I picked some up from Target Sports in February or March of 2020…..right before the world really went to hell for I think 440 shipped a case for 9 and 460ish for 45 but 499 definitely is lowest I’ve heard of in a long time

Yeah, before ~March 2020, it was still available at some places for under $400/case shipped. Then BOOM.

I got in on that same deal. Picked up 5 cases. I chuckle every time I walk past it.

Many moons ago, I was shopping for a concealed carry piece. I shot about everything on the market at the time, and the VP9 stood out as the best shooting gun I tried. It was like there was a bullseye magnet on the thing. But I was after something smaller, so I never bought one.

I’ve carried a G19 for a long time now, but I never shoot a Glock well. Good enough, but not great. I like Glocks, but that’s always bugged me.

Circling back many years later, this thing is still amazing. Just a joy to shoot, ringing my steel targets out to 45 yds without trying too hard. I can hit whatever I’m aiming at (like I expect to !). This will be my new home defense/range/OWB gun. 17+1 like they should’ve been from the start.

Congrats on a fine pistol!

Been waiting for someone to make Macro grip mods for the original 365 and Wilson Combat came to the rescue 🤣

Stop!!! I have too many grip modules. Must resist. I already have the WC 12 rnd. I like it a lot. It is soooo grippy. Almost a little too much for cc under the shirt. Maybe a little sanding in the right spots would do the trick.

Sent in an AAC 762SDN-6 for a conversion to a Mini 7. Should get it tomorrow, but I won't be able to shoot it for a long time. I plan on switching to the Griffin Plan A system for all my cans instead of the Silencerco ASR that I'm currently using.

Getting hit with the suppressor upgrade bill, the Griffin mount and muzzle devices and the K20 balance is going to result in a big credit card bill next month. Plus Christmas. 😬
