Love shooting with the fellas at the cabin but having the range to yourself on a 50° December day in Wisconsin ain't too bad either.Best range days are with those closest to you. Looks like you had an amazing time, Sir!!!![]()

Cerakote has no negative effect on plastic or metal in terms of chemical interaction that I'm aware of. Applied correctly -- always the fundamental question -- it's incredibly thin and reasonably abrasion resistant; its best features are corrosion resistance, and ease of stripping and reapplying comparatively inexpensively when needed.newbie question- will cerakote affect a guns plastic/metal frame or is the effect neglible?
When I had a p229 legion SAO mine came with the sig optic which didn’t need a plate and was a pretty nice optic for my eyes.Bought myself a 54th birthday present today.SIG P229 Legion MOS in 9mm. Not sure which optics I’ll run on it yet. I gifted my P229 Extreme to one of my sons and had to fill the void. This one does the trick.
