This is the first center fire rifle I ever had. My Dad got it for me like 25 years ago. I think it was made in 1964 though. It is a 222 mag. I'm reminiscing.

I have a railed 5" 9mm from them. I just wanted to check it out. It is surprisingly decent. Good parts inside. Outstanding trigger. Groups well but not to point of aim until I filed the front sight. Sloppy slide to frame fit.I’m looking at a Tisas 10mm commander bobtail. Anyone have any experience? I have a couple 1911s but not one this inexpensive.
I see this post is a few months old but the Vortex Viper PST 1-6 is really solid for the money. I personally run a Kahles K16i on my 16” gun and Aimpoint T2 on the 11.5 SBR. Stick with a SFP 1-6x in the sub $1k range. 1-8x and up FFP LPVOs get tight on eye box and don’t do anything well.Since you all landed on CPK knives, I trust your opinions. I’m looking for a 1-6x or 1-8x optic to top a 16” BCM AR-15. I’m trying to stay under 1K. Hopefully I can find something rugged and reliable in that price range. Any recommendations? Much appreciated!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I bit the bullet and purchased a Vortex Razor 1-6 and have no regrets. It seems incredibly well built and the glass is crystal clear. Very comfortable eye relief as well.I see this post is a few months old but the Vortex Viper PST 1-6 is really solid for the money. That’s a great choice and what I had planned on. I live10 minutes from Cabela’s and of course they had the Gen 3 1-10x Razor but not the 1-6x. I had just hooked a buddy up with a demo Kahles K16i at a big discount from eurooptics; it had beautiful glass. I walked into Cabela’s before Christmas and they had 1 @ K16i left (they were discontinuing it). I got 15% off with 12 months 0% interest on my Cabela’s card, another 10% for first responder and cashed in 2 years worth Cabela’s points. Walked out the door with the $2200 Kahles for less than $900.Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I bit the bullet and purchased a Vortex Razor 1-6 and have no regrets.
