I’ve been wearing “The Wilderness” instructor and frequent flyer belts for more than 20 years. The 5 stitch webbing is super stiff. I have the titanium buckles that they don’t sell anymore, but the steel buckles are functionally identical, just a little heavier. My first belt had the polymer stiffener inside the webbing; totally not needed. The 5 stitch supports a full-size 1911 with no sag or stretch. Frequent flyer is great when flying. Wear it with shorts. What rigid belts do you all like for concealed carry?
I've been using a nexbelt, which I really like, but it's starting to get pretty ratty and worn.

I think he is trying to retrofit the gen 5 Glock performance trigger to a gen 3 Glock- or maybe you were trying to have a dig at Glock anywayMy point exactly. Here you have a belt that preformed beautifully for 20+ years.
Yet the previous OP has a brand new Glock trigger that you need to Dremel out of the box to work correctly.
Can’t believe they don’t have OEM Glocks on hand to mfg correctly the parts to drop in fit precisely.
Boggles the mind![]()

I still laugh at Hi-Point having a poll to name the 9mm they made, and actually going with the most popular choice; Yeet CannonAs much as I love this meme, I’d like to give Glock a little more credit. That’s more like a hi-point…
I don't have issues with people changing trigger parts in a Glock, to get a better trigger, especially a range toy, but for defensive use, I wouldn't change anything except a shoe or connector. I wouldn't have a Glock performance trigger or Timney in a defensive gun; they turn it into a single action. Glock triggers suck compared to my Les Baer, Stacatto P, Shadow 2 Orange, etc, but perfectly serviceable for defensive use. I've carried Glocks and M&Ps as a duty weapon. Even qualifying and doing stress induced tactical drills, you don't even notice the trigger unless you can't shoot and I've been spoiled with Bullseye guns. Never shot worse than 94% on a qual (yes I'm bragging), and that was low light, when i got my glasses. I was in Fire and Arson unit at Fire Dept, but issued weapon by, trained and qualified with PD, then State Fire Marshal after retirement. Only time I got outshot by a police officer was shooting against the Swat team Commander. He shot a clean qual and I dropped one shot at 25, However, It does drive me nuts anytime someone discusses trigger jobs and the haters jump all over the thread saying leave it alone. People get into trouble with glocks with that darn trigger return spring. Heavy return spring lightens trigger by working against striker spring and screws up reset. The $.25 polish job goes a long way on a Glock trigger. Disclaimer: I havent had a Gen 5 but hear its a better trigger. My point exactly. Here you have a belt that preformed beautifully for 20+ years.

I live about 2 hours from Hi Point. Thought about picking one up for a boat anchor. Just couldn't bring myself to do it!
BTW, received my BFK from Jo this week! First CPK, so I'm officially part of the club. Now to find me an EDC 1.2, to actually EDC!
I've own a lot of different brands of ratchet belts. Kore makes a great belt, but the clasp mechanism is clunky. Slidebelts has the best version that I've used. What rigid belts do you all like for concealed carry?
