Convex EDC Thread

I can't get enough of this blade. Had mine out all afternoon. A cutting machine.

okay, I didn't forget about this, I just got backed up with moving, kids, fencing, winter, and a new baby.

I've got 3 of these in the "getting handles" stage.

this one is ready for anyone who may be interested. Sheath isn't made yet, so there's options there. Personally, I'd take a ranger on this, but an expedition would work out well.

Handle is wenge. Finished to 600 grit, then a bronze brush is used to lightly "distress" the grain. The lighter grain sections are softer than the darker. So you get a slightly textured feel to it. Blade is finished to 600 grit and wiped with 800.

yep, haven't done the sheath yet, pick one and it's 2-3 days, vaguely possible to rush, I'm finishing up a pile of stuff

okay, got two waiting responses things on the wenge. if buster don't grab it, someone else is waitng for my pm.

but in the meantime.....

(this is 220 grit, so the color isn't popped yet, but it's pretty.)

I felt blue.

7.25 OAL, 3 3/8 blade. blue linen G10, black spacers, 1080 steel. I'm letting it rest till morning after 400 grit and it's polishing up ont he scales really well.

I think filework is overkill on this, so I haven't looked at any.

not claimed yet, nope. but I need to wait for a response on something before it's officially up for grabs.

definitely doing a black sheath. maybe with blue thread.

Man this knife in blue is awesome.
I have learnt that blaze colors (blue is my favorite) are good to find losen knives in woods ;-(
I expect 1 hour looking for my losen knife in woods last weekend, at the end I found it ;-).
I´m going to put blue stap pieces on all my wood kits
