I'm feeling a little underwhelmed by this one. Maybe because I'm comparing it to the October 2021 which was done in ironwood and has a great modified clip blade. And, they made 500 of those.

Might be a pass for me.

Oh no, this one is just right! Love the 500 Duke. S30V is the best all around steel ever made IMO. Not thrilled with linen micarta, but it looks good and I love the barehead. $149.99 not a bad price. Bought one!!

I like this one but I'm going to have to pass. I have the ironwood BOTM 500 that I never carry so I just can't justify it. Looking forward to the pics though!

Dang! I was hoping to get a break this month. But, I only have the standard rosewood dymalux 500 and I also prefer the barehead look. I'm also a little curious how this black linen micarta will match up with my CRK. Anyway, Buck done hooked me again.

I agree! I have long pull notches in both of my 501s, but my 500 isn't duplicated yet. This will fix it. I had originally planned to just get one good version of each model, but that plan seems to have changed somewhere along the way. Not sure how that happened.

That’s a good looking knife. I wonder if it’s stainless or Nickel Silver? I can’t tell by looking but would guess NS based on the satin finish?

Got that one too and i'm happy with it, I do love micarta though but this will be a pass for me too.

I'm in. love the 500 size. 500 to me is best pocket knife to carry in a pocket that Buck makes. I'd prefer it is stainless bolsters, but my suspicion is its nickel silver and that okay. steel, don't really carry what it is this time. it's a pocket carry knife for me....... all Bucks steels work.
