Wow! That system looks great!
You just made my day with those pictures.

I have shifted from home theater back to 2 channel. I am enjoying it more than the full surround sound stuff.

Right now I am running a
NAD C 740 as my receiver with a Denon DBP-1610 Blu-Ray player for media. Speakers are NHT 1.3 two ways. I also have NHT’s Super Zero Satellites with a matching 8 inch powered subwoofer.

Gear that is not being used right now includes a NAD BEE CD player, NHT Pro A 20 speakers, an old entry level turntable, and a Sony 300 disc unit. Also have a 2 channel Denon receiver in storage.

Future plans include custom speaker stands, upgraded audio rack, and adding an Apple PowerBook I have as a music server.
I’m glad I brightened your day my friend and if I may add you have made mine also. It’s nice to meet another audiophile in the knife world. You also Sir have made some great and stellar  choices for audio entertainment to enjoy and hope you do as am I at its fullest :)

LOL! Thanks.

My “great and stellar choices” are all hand me downs. The NAD gear was given to me. A long time friend bought the C 740 at a thrift store for less than $16.00! All the Denon and Sony equipment was also free.

Almost all of the NHT stuff came from Chris Byrne, the co-founder of NHT. The Pro A-20s were his personal set out of his house. To the best of my knowledge, the only pair ever made with a cherry finish. :) The Super Zeros and sub I bought as “B Stock” at a huge discount.

The 1.3s are the exception. They did not come from Chris. I bought them used when I lived in an apartment. $60 bucks. Neighbors take a dim view of sub woofers when you live above them.

That’s some great gear all to be proud of and enjoy! For all the above reasons to boot
