EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Jazz is always good. I’ve been listening to Spyro Gyra lately.

You obviously have better gear than I. What kind of speakers?

Nice looking knife, btw.
Thanks my friend!
I am a true Audiophile but with Beer Breath and Champagne taste lol. Before I got into my knife hobby  I invested most of my “entertainment” into Home Theater lol and 2 channel music. But since have scaled down into the best bang for the buck I can get with my audiophile ears:D
Music is like therapy for me like riding my motorcycle is. The speakers are a pair I just got in and they are phenomenal ! Klipsch RP600m speakers and one of the best bang for the buck speakers imo. I hooked them up last night and can’t stop listening to them. These are a newer version of the Klispch horned speakers so the highs aren’t as forward nor fatiguing during long listening sessions. But the detail , clarity front stage is unreal. I also have some Monitor Audio Silver 2’s which are twice the price and have to say I like these Klipsch better in all areas. With that being said I’m keeping my monitor audios so I can switch back when I want a different flavor of sound because they are outstanding just a little more layed back and not as forward. Another thing I like about these RP600m’s is there very efficient and allows you to get amazing sound and detail at very low listening levels. I use to run all separate components like amps and processors. Now I’m just running a Nad356bee , project turn table and Nad c568 CD player and Furman Elite 20-FI power conditioner with a Klipsch 12” sub woofer when I’m feeling the need for more bass .Very happy with this combo !

Thanks. Also, if you find other brands/models that are similar in nature please let me know.

Like I said, I know nothing about axes. A little educational info would go a long way. This is a case of me not knowing what to look for or even where to start.
Who to ask questions or what kind of questions to ask.

If I could find a head and hang it, that would be fun. But, once again, I don’t even know where to start.

A friend of mine talks about people not knowing what they don’t know. I am very much in that group when it comes to axes.

Brother if you have the coin,

Council Tool

Hultafors

Hults Bruks

You should consider carrying a saw in your Jeep, too

Beautiful knife and totally underrated. The deep hollow grind on that is incredible!

Ya its a really well rounded knife, ergos are great but could be a little better. Blade grind is phenomenal. I finally broke down and started using it. Its a solid knife and will remain in my top 5. I just need another one now haha. All titanium is what I'm looking for.

Wow! That system looks great!
You just made my day with those pictures.

I have shifted from home theater back to 2 channel. I am enjoying it more than the full surround sound stuff.

Right now I am running a
NAD C 740 as my receiver with a Denon DBP-1610 Blu-Ray player for media. Speakers are NHT 1.3 two ways. I also have NHT’s Super Zero Satellites with a matching 8 inch powered subwoofer.

Gear that is not being used right now includes a NAD BEE CD player, NHT Pro A 20 speakers, an old entry level turntable, and a Sony 300 disc unit. Also have a 2 channel Denon receiver in storage.

Future plans include custom speaker stands, upgraded audio rack, and adding an Apple PowerBook I have as a music server.
