EDC XIII Which knife or knives are you carrying today?

Tbh they all work for me. Sometimes a Delica is perfect other times I like a military.
Variety is the spice of life.
IMO it’s worth trying something new.
You convinced me haha. I ordered a bodacious to try as I tried a manix once and it never clicked.
Native 5 is a SOLID knife, right in your size preference. Stout, tough little knife. Check it out if you don't already own one.
Thanks for the suggestion. I've had several Natives and for me the Delica just fits better.

We got back last night from a week in our Vermont woods, having taken our new-to-us splitter up in the F350. The old truck ran great up and back in its first extended trip in many years. We spent one day working in our hilltop meadow cutting back an invasion of quaking aspens as we work to restore that field after having neglected in in recent years. Next time up we'll get mowing and work the sides of the long gravel drive up the hill. Aside from that we spent some hours on a couple afternoons splitting about a half cord of maple and birch we'd cut last fall and stocking the woodshed.

As usual I took about a dozen blades along and some knife tools and sharpening sharpening gear, but, also as usual lately, only carried a couple and really didn't fool with the rest or work on any. My usual woods-and-fields carry is hiding on top of the splitter above and can be seen better below.

I also carried my Cheburkov leader on the way up and on a day spent on errands to a farm in the next town for whole milk and tomatoes, then south to fill up the truck, and across the river to NH for groceries and supplies.

I did pocket the Arius for the drive back, so that kinda rounds out a week's plus of EDC knife carry. Now I've gotta get caught back up again here after being unable to post or follow from our mostly electronically deprived rural retreat. It's always great to be up there, but also nice to be back home too.
