Elusive Schrades

Boy John, those are nice, I have the very same EO Jack but oddly enough it has three pins like your non EO Jacko_O:thumbsup:

Paul, Charlie, Glenn, Paul, thank you all, appreciate the comments.

Paul, I noticed the extra pin also, wonder if in some point in production they decided to add another pin to to strengthen the easy open notch, we do see an awful lot of old easy opens that are broken at the notch.

Very true John, good point:thumbsup: now I have to find the mate to mine;):)

Wow Paul, s-i-m-p-l-y outstanding!
I was shocked when I was going through my knives the other day I knew I had like yours in Mint condition- but also found another all waxed up that is in gorgeous condition! Just stunning Knives!

I find these to be particularly attractive.

Paul, that trapper is stunner, gorgeous knife!

Picked up a Schrade Cut Co 2 blade jack that still has it's bail, looks to be almost unused. These would be considered boys knives. I had the same model already in the collection but without a bail so the knife was offered both ways.

Hello all you Schrade specialists.
Hopping that you can shed some light on this one.
Unlike some other Walden 8OTs that I have acquired over the years, I’ve never seen one with fully polished blades and a swedge like this one.
So, what do you think: Age, place of production, polished blades, unusual swedge.....very curious to read your thoughts. 76FE1363-9CB6-4423-BD12-081446722593.jpeg
