Been looking for this picture!!We can't go a whole page without some purty pitchers!!
At some point in the Schrade Cutlery story, serrated edges appeared, and Schrade put their "Wonda-edge" on several patterns. Here are a few; a small "premium" rope knife, one with, one without, from a rope company, and two Muskrats, one serrated on the mark blade, and one on the pile.
Just got this Schrade Walden 899. Given the tang stamp and spey blade, I think its a 1947-1973 knife. Generally I don't have any trouble telling Delrin from bone, but this one....I'm pretty sure its Delrin, but its really nice Delrin. I like punch knives
My first knife of 2020; it will be a safe queen. A Sunday knife for petite ranch folk.View attachment 1262512 View attachment 1262513 View attachment 1262514

The new acquisition prompted me to take an 899 family photo. I don't see a lot of these around but somehow have managed to find three nice ones. No two peachseed slabs are exactly alike.

Oh, the horror! A Parker Frost! But this one is a Schrade, with the blades stamped as such on the reverse.
Lucky find. I think 861's are attracted to me somehow.

Paul, you definitely scored a nice one there.
Very nice! I have one very similar buried in a box somewhere. I should dig it out and carry it.Schrade Barlow image
