So old fumble fingers here dropped his candiru tip first onto the protective screen of his phone. I was cutting open a package that had a new protective screen in it, that was to replace the already damaged screen on my phone. I hit it up against my ute door earlier this evening.

The tip has the smallest bit of damage that i can feel with my finger.

Anyways all is good i have a new protective screen now and a couple swipes over a fine stone and the esee tip is as good as new.

That is a good screen protector to absorb the weight of that knife on a single point.

You should send that story to the maker and maybe they’ll send you free screen protectors

Out today into beaver territory

Fout a cool looking skeleton from a Heron

Drizzling all morning so brought my tarp along

Esee 5 made small sticks and curls to fill my Firebox Nano

First make some coffee

Unpack my food stuff for lunch while waiting for my water to voil

Prepared so dough at home for a bannock

Coffee is ready

Next up, baking my bannock

Looking tasty already

The cut and fry some choriso sausages

Oh, the smell

Beans in tomato-sauce

And to make it complete, an egg, eggs go well with just about everything

I posted this pic several days ago when it was brand new, and this ESEE 5 looks more used now...but not much. This is my first one, and dang if they are hell for stout.

Received a package from australia this week from sonofwilfred .
He's making these pouches himself and asked me to try these out. I'm sure you've seen his work on the forums here before.

I'm very exited with these. materials feels very sturdy and well made. The auscam looks sweet imho. Plenty of room in the 'tactical pencil case' and the Esee 6 pouch fits perfect on the standard sheath, even with the molle back the standard screws are long enough to attach it. Bottom of the pouch is attached with a shockcord that lashes through the bottom holes.

Filled the larges pouch with my cooking gear, a small cutting board, folding bowl and cup from Sea to Summit, Firebox Nano, a spatula, spork and skewer/fork for sausages... with room for more.

The knife pouch fits a nice size tin (there's punkwood in mine), ferro-rod, striker and still some spare room.

Need to get out for a some real world testing soon
