Thank you. I’m really diggin’ it.
This week, an old school knife with modern touches, and a modern knife with old school touches.
This just in today. I was looking for a small pocket knife. Found exactly what I wanted ~
William Henry Pikatti Ares - 2" - ZDP-189 blade, 2-5/8" folded, 4 -5/8" open. As it is titanium it is wicked light weight. A surprisingly affordable WH, without all the gaudy that I usually associate with WH but with all the precision of the build that one does associate with WH, for this little button lock. This one will be carried every day and used just as often in one capacity or another. I am pretty happy with this one.
Here with an AA battery for size comparison.
I’ll be spending extended weekend at the countryside next weekend so good amount of ”honeymoon” with this ESEE before that!
Quite happy with the sheath too. It has amazing retention to it. Time will tell how it works when it breaks in.
Thanks to the absolute gem of a human being that is @NWPM2 , these guys
The PMTanto has been in my pocket pretty much since it arrived, and the other two will go on to my dad and a buddy.
At long last
You got a hidden gem there, congratulations, a beautiful example.
Thanks! Really happy with it. I'm unsure as to if I should make it a user. As long as I don't really damage anything, CRK can always freshen up the coating and make it look nice.
Got it today. Kevin
Damon Lusky/Alfa Knife Bird & Trout:
I've had a Roselli short axe and the UHC Hunter for many years, finally added a Leuku, the large model, to the stable.
I'm trying real hard not to make impulse buys, but a new CKF/Rassenti Satori 2.0 with a $195 discount was a no brainer for me today.
Just ordered it. So excited. It's been out of stock for a while and just poped back in stock. I really like the modern design and idea of a USA made sgien dubh in a known steel. I've been looking at dubhs ever since my Scotland excursion and found that there are many touristy ones in unknown steels, which was a major turn off. Very excited to get this BA little blade.
A fantastic couple of mailcalls over the last couple days. The almighty GEC Whaler reporting for pancake flipping duty from my good friend @Cvrobinson as well as this gorgeous fixed blade from @Felipe Reis who is one of our makers. Do NOT sleep on his knives. This one is fantastic.
My first Medford, a Proxima. I love it already.
Gift from my business partner for the first 3 consecutive profitable months with our new company. Made me feel really guilty because I got him wine, looking for something to add to that now
bought on a whim...
