looks like i got a TON of boxes today around 2-3 pm
one box has six copies of the Smokey Mountain Museum of modern Kephart books
one box had two of the KaBar BK62 Kephart knives
one box had a David Anderson Canteen Knife
and one box has a first edition 1906 Kephart book
it's like early xmas

I dared call Tomar's,, and spoke to John. His tone changed when I mentioned ... the Kephart.
Duh, DUh, DUHHHHHHHHH!!!!!
But he quickly recovered and was quite professional and pleasant.
I asked for a status check up and reply via email. Which, as it turns out, I made the first cut, it will be here by 8:00 pm tomorrow.

it's not 240 grit, but it's not bad. little chatter on some of the end grain, but to be expected.
still feels cool from the box, almost a little like it's not completely dry, perhaps that's the light BLO like smell?
