I had the opposite issue. It wouldn't take my credit card but it had no problem taking my PayPal.

I'm really excited for this knife. Excluding a few SAKs and a Buck 110 I recently purchased, this is going to be both the first slip joint and first traditional knife I've owned in twenty years!
 
Im very excited for this. Thanks to everyone who put in the work to make it happen. This is my first forum knife and I hope there are many more to come.

I noticed that it didn't have pins, but I forgot about the long pulls.

Did they ever post a pic of what the FFG blades with long pulls look like? I'm apprehensive about ordering a knife (or 2) without knowing what it'll look like.

Woohoo! All set here too. What a great experience this whole process was. Much appreciative and a round of applause to all.

Also had the issue with PayPal but quickly remedied via credit card.
 
Mine in :thumbsup: Couldn't use PP in the first attempt but a few hours later all as usual with PP. We might have been overwhelming the system :rolleyes:.

Thanks for putting this all together. A special knife and a great deal too :cool:

And again, my thanks to all who worked to make this happen! This whole process has been a surprisingly successful endeavor. I never expected Buck to embrace this, based on previous years comments, and the various pols attracted a lot more interest, and less contentiousness, than many previous years. I'm really looking forward to this knife's arrival!
 
I had the same issue with the PayPal checkout when I tried earlier and figured it was a sign that I didn't really need 2 more knives and abandoned the purchase.
Yeah, right.....
It took 9 hours for me to cave and use my CC for the order.
I'm weak.:(

But I've got 2 excellent knives and a slip on order!:)

I couldn’t quote the original post but this is a picture for one of the earlier discussions of the forum knife. I obviously can’t be sure this is what it will look like as I think is is a buck knife from many years ago. You can’t say they don’t know what a full flat grind is though.
