Unlike traditionals modern folders are measured by blade length.ChazzyP Is that 3 7/8 inch and larger you specify in post number one, the closed length, or blade length?
I ask because most would consider a Buck 110 Folding Hunter, for example, at 5 inches closed, a "large" folding knife. Yet the blade length is "only" 3 3/4 inches.

What he said, and, as I said in the OP, I wouldn't quibble over a mm or two. I had my 110 out the other day and was reminded that it is indeed a big knife.Unlike traditionals modern folders are measured by blade length.
But either way I think most would classify the 110 as a large knife.
