Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Ive seen a lot of complaints about the twisted assisted lambs in this thread and i gotta say. Mines actually pretty decent. Maybe its making up for the awful stag lamb i affectionately named chonk. Had to work on that one for a while, had one terribly exposed pin and the edge was terrible. Anyway, carrying this one today.

Good morning Guardians, I hope that everyone is well, and that you're all having a relaxing and enjoyable weekend. Apologies again for my absence, but I really have been crazy-busy with an unusual work situation this past week or so, to the extent that I was having to get by on 3-4 hours sleep a night. I'll not bore you with the details, but hopefully, it's all done and dusted for now - in fact for all time! :D Thanks for keeping the Guardians thread at the top of the front page, and I'm looking forward to catching up :) My pal Matt asked if I wanted to go to a local beer and music festival today, as we usually attend, but I told him I need a rest! 😴 So, I'll be trying to have an easy one today ;) Have a great Sunday Guardians

A brother blade!! Ha Ha !!
Twins! :D

Very nice Mitch :)
Yeah, that wasn’t much fun, was it? We had to get the girls out of bed and head down to the basement, as well.
Glad you're all safe and sound Barrett :)
For some reason this made me think of The Ballad of Buster Scruggs. I was thinking maybe there was a run on the bank depicted in one of the segments that make up the film (it’s been a couple years since I’ve seen it), but I think it was just a regular old Wild West bank robbery. 🀠
Great film :D I keep seeing YT clips, should re-watch the whole movie :)
We’re watching Back to the Future with the kids tonight, since it’s the 40th anniversary of its theatrical release. (This is always an easy one for me to remember, because it came out when I was 4 days old.) 😁

LOL! :D I reckon it's the best part of 40 years since I last saw it :D Good fun re-watching 'old' movies with your kids, I hope the girls enjoyed it buddy :)
The best I could do. I hope all have a safe and enjoyable 4th.πŸŽ‰
First day under 90Β°!!

Though I'm still on the Revere Ware percolator.

I just dropped everything to put the flag out, lest I forgot..

It's back to work for me today. It's cookout spirit day!

In my time off, I got my new glasses ordered: Progressives with the latest Transitions, in a plain black metal frame heavier than wire frames but lighter than the old fat plastic frames. I didn't see the Ducks unlimited aviators that had become habitual, but these are nicer anyway, with lenses as big, which was the point of aviators. Not that I wanted to look like Tom Cruise in the 1980s. (People think we're twins anyway.)😁
And cleared some more brush, and poisoned some more weeds, and mailed the insurance claim for the glasses, and spray-painted the face of the ancient glaring white monster gas meter that I noticed from across the street at the ice cream social.
And finished all the available One Step Beyonds. It looks like the lady at the bottom of the pool didn't survive. Some episodes show celluloid decay, and some were missing.
And I took a few naps.
And made a bit of a leap and bound with the Tai Chi.
Sounds like a busy day Jer :D
I always liked that one.

Mine

Looking good buddy :)
Good morning Guardians !

Nice choice David, you can't go wrong with an Albers

I have just returned from an early Saturday morning dip in 50 degree water in the ocean, with an air temp of 43 degrees. And it feels cold. Have a good weekend mate.
Good for you Leon :)
Great shot
SteveC SteveC Thought you might like this snapshot. Found it online years ago, a kid and his future long time friend. They will be inseparable. And the beanie may help you think of cooler weather, it will arrive eventually as the seasons change.

Afternoon all.
Bobstag
Been out and about Saturday, bit of shopping and blood tests I've been putting off.
The sun is starting to go down, enjoying a quiet beverage.

Got my illusion of fire going so I'm settled in for awhile. πŸ˜€
I hope your tests come back OK Mitch, sounds like a nice, relaxing evening :)
Hope you are feeling better Jack! 🀞
Be well good sir. Hope you are taking time for yourself.
Thanks guys, I'm fine, just an unusual work situation. I'm a bit battered, but looking forward to some down time! :D

I'm glad you got a good one buddy :) The ones I had from their first run with Wright's were incredibly hard to open, and took a bit of work to make them more user-friendly. The second-run was a lot better. I have no idea where they are now. I keep passing mine on, so should check their site! :D
Cool pic Mitch :)
