I had a rude awakening around 1am this morning. Tornado sirens went off just before 1am . I checked my phone and there was a Tornado warning for my county and a take shelter warning. Cassie and I made it down to the basement and turned on the news. The warning was set to expire in a half hour. We ended up only getting strong winds and heavy rain but there were some tornado touch downs west of here. In all my years this is the first time I've been woken up by a Tornado siren. Thankfully I was able to get back to sleep.
Glad to hear it, Bob! I’m catching up after the wedding week madness. Son in law gave me a beautiful knife as a thank you gift. Not aso I’ll post this pic instead:View attachment 2913728

Just been watching an old replay of a show called Foyles War, for our American and other friends it is a British show about a detective in a seaside town during World War 2. Foyle the main character had to dig a bullet out of a wall after a shooting, he produced a pocket knife from his pocket to do such task, a Lambsfoot. Their popularity knows no bounds.![]()
Crazy eh? Not as crazy as a documentary I watched about banking in Lebanon, where they stopped allowing people to withdraw money at all, and customers were having to go in, in groups, brandishing guns, to withdraw money from their own accounts!![]()
Love this knife Steve- What an Ol' Beauty!
I always like looking at my natural material handled Knives in the direct Sun, if it's Bone, Stag, Wood - it just makes everything pop out, the grain on these Handles Steve looks gorgeous in this light.
Yeah, that wasn’t much fun, was it? We had to get the girls out of bed and head down to the basement, as well.

Great shots, Bob. I gather you’re pretty far from the GA coast but if you ever get the hankering for some good barbecue and proper cocktails in a beautiful location I suggest a drive out to St Simon’s to eat at my friend Griff Bufkin’s Southern Soul Barbecue https://www.southernsoulbbq.com/our-storyOut exploring...sorry for the blur
