Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I decided to put this old Gal in my pocket today. My first day out venturing after being stuck inside with a bad dose of the lurgy, it always hits me in my Lungs big time!

Herbert Robinson, Sheffield. This thing is sharp after a little stropping 😱

Have the best day folks. πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘View attachment 2969117
Glad you are recovering Duncan. I'm sure it will feel good to be mobile again.
What a sweet lamb. I really like the blade profile.πŸ‘πŸ»

My autoimmune inner ear disease is worse, so it's time to go full tilt anti-inflammatory. First step, cold turkey the sugar.
I put cinnamon and stevia in my oatmeal this morning instead of brown sugar and molasses. Not so bad.
Nice pic Jer :) I've been using Xylitol for the past few years thumbsup:
Happy Friday to you too Jack πŸ˜πŸ‘
Good morning Guardians. Woke up to a cool 45Β° this morning.

Jumping on the Bex wagon today πŸ‘

Thanks a lot buddy, loving the Bex :D :)

Good afternoon Guardians, apologies for my absence. I was expecting the legal hearing I covered yesterday to last no more than half an hour, but it dragged on for three! It was nearly 5pm by the time I got out of court, and I was supposed to be meeting Matt for tea! Fortunately, I managed to get a lift home, and the traffic was surprisingly light. I jumped in the shower, got changed, typed up my court notes, and headed out to meet Matt, and we had a great evening out, which extended until about 2.30am :D Unfortunately, this morning, I received more work, which needed to be done quickly, so I've only just got that done! I hope everyone is well, and having a great weekend

Happy Friday. Here’s a Toole in black paper micarta along with my cat Toby. I recently taught him to shake hands. He figured out the more he sticks out his paw the likelier it is he’ll get a treat. His special talent is he tolerates turkeys.

Beauty Kurt :)
That's a nice one Dale

Lovely old Slater David :)
Good afternoon Guardians! It's a hot Friday around here. Not sure how many more of these we'll get this year so trying to enjoy it. 5 o'clock can't come soon enough!

Hope you're getting some nice weather today Pat :)
I walked four more miles on the Dakota Rail Trail today, covering miles 2 through 4. It was mostly cloudy, but the sun kept peeking out every so often. It’s also unseasonably cool here, with a high of only 59Β° today, though it looks like it’ll warm back up into the 70s next week.

One of my favorite things about this trail (when it’s warm and sunny out, rather than cool and overcast, that is) is how much natural shade some parts of it have.

The section of trail I walked today goes between Orono and Minnetonka Beach, both small communities on Lake Minnetonka. I’ve learned it’s best not to look up the values of houses in this area. 😳🀣

Because it was built on an old railroad bed, the trail crosses several old trestle bridges. Most of them are fairly small, but I think this one, Arcola Bridge, might be the longest at around 550 feet.

I would have taken some pictures of the lake, but it was seriously windy as I crossed the bridge β€” I had to take my hat off and stuff it in my back pocket to keep from losing it β€” so I didn’t hang around too long. I did get one quick snap of the Lambsfoot I had with me, though.

Good for you Barrett, and many thanks for the pics my friend :) Lovely to see that Lamb too :)
Tasmanian Devil!!!😈View attachment 2968996View attachment 2969000
This Tasmanian Blackwood from Eric needed some fresh air from its safe queen status!!
Sweet Charlie, that's impressive-looking wood :)
Thanks, Steve, but that’s actually a different knife. I believe it was a short run Jack had done in Indonesian Rosewood, so while it was a Jack Black Jack Black exclusive, it wasn’t one of the annual Guardians knives.
I was about to ask you about it too Barrett! :D I had a number of short runs, but I'd have to dig deep into my emails to jog my memory of them all

Nice old Herbert Robinson Duncan :) I'm glad you're feeling better my friend. I was worried I might have got Covid again after spending a couple of hours with someone who later told me his wife was ill with it, but I think it was just a cold
Thank you Barrett. This is easily my most carried lamb, I just love it.

Your walks on the trail recently have brought back some very fond memories of when I was a kid and my parents took my brother and I on a bicycle ride somewhere near the Wisconsin/Minnesota state line. We were supposed to ride all day and stay the night then ride back the next day. I was very young so I can’t remember exactly where it was, but there was a cheese festival going on at our destination and subsequently there were no hotel rooms available. My dad had to ride all the way back that night to get the van and pick us up. We waited on a park bench outside a restaurant with my mom while my dad said he was chased several miles by a dog. 🀣

The memories you are creating will last a lifetime. πŸ™‚
Poor dad!

Great to see Rose Beast Jer
Being in Georgia, some spalted pecan today. Even here they are expensive and there is an orchard right down the road!

Great shot Bob, and another fabulous Lamb  If you ever get the time, it would be great to see all your Cosimo Lambs together
Nice old lamb, Duncan, and hey . . . feel better, will ya!? And Bob, that's a beauty of a spalty!

Today I'm a heretic and NOT carrying a lamb after a week or so with Roper and Beni, but here is a nice pic of some of my flock.
