So Mr. John Lloyd sent me a message a few days ago, asking if I can engrave stuff other than scrolls. He had not yet seen the stag barlow I had engraved. I sent him pictures and he liked my engraving enough to want to send me some knives straight from his bench to mine. I'll update with what shows up :)

In the meantime, here's some silly stuff.

you play M:tG?

I used to have a bunch of cool stuff from the first releases.

The creatures of the Barlows - a limited series by LL, ie. Lloyd/Ladd Creations.
That could be a winner - if only for 2 of mine. ;) Still - just an idle dream...

I don't, but my husband has been playing since 1998. So many people "used to have" and sold out and I don't think a single one hasn't regretted that choice to sell. He had several cards worth a thousand dollars today. He sold some of his older things when he was destitute in college. Now, he has several decks that can buy used cars, in today's car market... which is something I learned recently....

Is this one of those "I have two inventory lists, one for my insurance agent, and one for my wife..." situations? 🤣

I seriously couldn't justify owning them. I was expecting our third child and didn't see the game as anything but a distraction. Maybe if my older kids were able to play I'd have kept them but in the end they are in a good place being used and I'm fine with the decision and dont regret it a bit.

if anything I'll find one of those emulators with all of the cards to play with my kids should they want to die from an infinity point fireball.

Everybody's got their priorities. You know what you're doing, I'm sure.

I don't. I have no idea. But I don't have kids and I never will so I won't ever have that stick flying into my spokes lol.

I have a couple of Rolex watches that have tripled in value over the past 4 years, but they were already expensive enough to buy a used car before their value went up. My watch collection is worth more than my wife's 401K, but to be fair her pension is worth more than all of my watches, guns, knives, headphones, cars and her 401K all put together...

Ah, a pension, wonder what having that opportunity available was like. Remember when credit scores weren't a thing? I don't, that was right about when I was born.

It’s magical 🤗
As long as the gremlins managing it aren't drunk or high... I'd like to have a state employee pension, too, in theory, but I think in practice it's probably hugely underfunded and I bet I'd never get the benefits I was theoretically guaranteed.

Oddly my employer still does have a pension. It has been trimmed back, but as of now, new employees over 21 who put in three years are still vested in our pension.
