The issues I have with fixed blade front pocket carry are comfort, getting to it easily, and getting it back into the sheath safely and easily. I could not find anything I liked for from pocket carry until I recently got a Creely Blades Mako + sheath. This in an expensive and often out of stock option.
The sheath makes it. I'm sure you could find somebody to a similar sheath for a knife you want to pocket. I'm looking to do this a couple of other small fixed blades. The sheath may cost more than the knife. Worth it to me. Carrying the Mako has convinced that pocketing is a small fixed blade can be great.
