A cup of water with about 3oz high pulp orange juice. Yes, I can drink it straight; but I've been doing this for years - fewer sugars than just oj, and better tasting than just water.

And, no, I didn't go to the lake. I was up at the required hour; but my sinuses were raging and it was 45 degrees. Both were deterrents to diving (I'd have gone, if I had a reasonable hope of my sinuses clearing by the time I hit the water)

Yeah good call. I personally haven't had trouble with clearing but I've had friends have problems. It can be excruciating!
 
My sinuses have been a mess this year, even with taking Flonase daily. I only dove once, taking Sudafed beforehand; and I paid for several days

Regular Flonase uses the preservative benzalkonium chloride, which is notorious for causing complications in both nasal sprays and eye drops. It can actually work counter to the active ingredient!

Thankfully, more alternatives have become available without this ingredient as the issues have become more widely known. I switched to a generic budesonide without it a few years ago. The improvement was significant.

I wasn't aware of the preservative issue; but I'd been looking at budesonide as an alternative. I'll pay attention to the preservative listing.

Actually, this could be considered 2nd breakfast, or maybe even third (would third breakfast count as brunch?)... But, since it is the only one that featured typical breakfast items (cereal and bourbon), I'm sticking with breakfast. Dry Corn Chex, Clyde May 5yr Single Barrel, Southern Grind Spider Monkey
