So The Irishman Founder's Reserve now seems to be The Irishman The Harvest. Not sure why they changed it and having "the" twice seems clunky, but this is a nice blend for the price. Like I said in previous discussions of Monkey Shoulder and Johnnie Green, "blended" gets a bad rap because most blends involve the addition of cheaper grain whiskeys. With barley being the key component in scotch and Irish whiskey, it feels like adulteration. As with Monkey Shoulder and Johnnie Green, that isn't the case here. The Harvest is made with 70% single malt and 30% Irish pot still.

It was my wife's Birth Day yesterday. A couple of other viejos (old guys) were sitting on the front patio with me while I was grilling for the party. They were sipping tequila.

Both of these knives have seen 15 plus years of hard ranching use.

First time I’ve ever even heard there was a sambuca antica black. I like it a lot more than the standard version. Still would not want it every day but it was great after a nice Italian seafood dinner.

Did a whole bottle of that black sambuca back when I partook....Though something was wrong the next morning when I made some Wicked Glowing green deposits..............😂........
Moral : No more than half a. Bottle.....😜
Hasn't been an issue since 1\12\94.👍
