Thanks Greg, it's gettin there.

Annealing the end of the tang again to ease the peening. While that cools I'm gonna forge a couple of items.
 
When the end piece gets shaped, I think everything will fall together nicely.

Meanwhile, enjoy this picture of the inside of my head.

I havent quite decided on how the end piece will match up with the guards curve. I have to different ideas, I'll try to draw them up and show you what I'm thinking. One they oppose curls, and the other they almost spoon.

This will take some supernatural refinement. Of course, I have some ideas, but there
is no room for both of us inside your head. :rolleyes:

I think it could hold it's own as an open guard now that I look at it like that Ray, but that end piece will extend down and meet the main guard.

I watched it when it was part of the Tracey Ullman Show. Was very funny in that context. That was enough for me though.
