Lets see your CPK in Leather!

Wow EMCEE EMCEE that is amazing progress! Congrats, great skill to have!
Thank you man. High praise coming from an artist and craftsman such as yourself, seriously. I hoped to actually save some knife $ by making my own sheaths. However, If I paid myself by the hour for it, I’d be making well below minimum wage. 😞

Relaxation and learning are priceless, though. 👍🏼

Bro, you know it was the least I could do for a knucklehead of your stature ! I’m trying to duplicate the method for my Reaper right now. We can call it the “ Lil’ MFer “ . It’ll be like your BMF sheath and Lorien’s Boot Dagger sheath had a baby ! 😂
Great job on that pattern, It's not easy, and I know because I tried, and gave up. Awesome work!

Thanks for posting the detailed pics inside of the mouth, I've always wondered what it looked like. Couldn't tell if it was leather over kydex or what. Interesting concept, I'd be curious to feel the retention.

I don't know how he does it, but on my DEK1 / Lorien sheath, the retention feels quite close to Kydex. No "clack", of course.

nothin fancy, just good ole vag tanned leather...

it can't be too loud, don't wanna alert the sentries!

Finished this just in time, the CW version showed up just a few minutes ago! It’s built with .02 thick titanium liners, and 4 oz leather.

Titanium Chicago screws are to adjust the blade hold

The ulti clip was offset a bit to keep the handle pointed slightly back when in your pocket.

The bottom has a slot for running a hose through the top to rinse out dirt, grime, wood chips or whatever ends up in your sheath.

The weight is 3oz, about 1 ounce lighter than the stock kydex.

I highly recommend trying out a build like this, it’s actually pretty easy to make.

Lorien Lorien , both symmetry and finish on this sheath are exquisite. I’ve no doubt that fit and retention are as exceptional as all of yours are. It makes we wish I had ordered one for the next HDFK I “luck” upon. Great work !IMG_4016.jpeg

My favorite sheath is in post #1686, it’s also from Bill. A close runner up is this one made for a MC. It’s made out of antique aged water buffalo (Bill, please correct me if I’m wrong). I love the distressed look and the fit is perfect!

Like most of my posts, the pictures don’t do it justice.

The skull work, as with D dericdesmond 's, is subtle yet spectacular!
Bravo!!
Thank you my friend ! I debated doing the skull basket weave pattern like on his sheath but that one is a major pain in the arse. The Reaper is such an ominous and sinister blade though; its sheath had to have at least a couple skulls. 💀💀💀
