Trand, my #89 Northfield Executive whittler has no half-stop on main. Half-stop on both secondaries.

Thanks for catching that Al. I didn't recheck the #89, just copied my old post and added the newer patterns. Checked the #89 Northfield Executive Whittler as well as a GEC Gambler and both have no half stop on the main blade and half stops on the secondaries, like the other whittlers I have from GEC.

73 Farmer. Single blade with a half stop.

Thanks, I kept picturing the Bullnose and calling it a Farmer but I have both of those and nope, they're not the same :)

GEC #76 Outlaw Jack & Western Outlaw have Half Stops

Thank you, added.

Thank YOU for taking the time to compile this list, it's a great idea and resource for all of us

+1. Good work Trand

No problem. Hopefully it'll be useful for those looking for their first or latest GEC.

So the # 54 Cigar Whittler has no half stop on the main either, if I understand you correctly.

#54s DO have half-stops.

Thank you, sir, for the clarification. I'm looking at a Cigar Whittler and am partial to half stops. Doesn't make much sense to me to have them on one end of the knife and not the other.

My new 2-blade #79 Workhorse does NOT have half-stops. It's a single spring slippie. Not sure about the 3-blade #79's, but this one doesn't.

French Kates - I have a Northfield and a Tidioute French Kate (I like legs in pairs mostly). No half stops.

Thanks guys. Can anyone else with the 2 and 3 blade #79s confirm how I have them listed is correct?

Trand my 3 blade 79 has half stops on all three blades. The 57 half-whitt does not have half stops.
