NOTABLE PAIRS : Only traditionals

Lovely pieces to add to your Canoe collection, GT! The Fit and Finish looks quite nice. Congrats!

Your definition of 'Notable' is the correct one GT, it's what strikes you:thumbup::cool:

Thanks, Will

Sometimes, simple is notable.

Very much the CASE Ed, notable can be glaringly simple! Interesting to see the notable size difference too, surprised.

Thanks, Will

Thanks, Gev. :) I was a little leery of ordering the Taylor Imperials (even though I grew up with the inexpensive U.S. made Imperials), especially given their ridiculously low price, but I'm more than pleased with fit and finish so far - seem to be very well-built. (Of course, I don't know anything about steel quality, and the celluloid covers definitely make me nervous. :o)

Thanks for the corroboration, Will. :)

Here are my Queen and Case single blade trappers, the Queen a carbon and bone, Case stainless and Derlin.

I've got a Queen stockman and Diamond Edge jack that look very similar, but the Queen is uundergoing a heavy restoration and the Diamond Edge, while cleaned up, still has a screwy and ugly set of blades from the previous owner using a grinder. I'll post when they're not so camera shy.

Nice ones Will, my sister gave me this one for Christmas s few years ago because it looks just like the tattoo on my arm. My first RR, and I was surprised at how decent it is. Scrimshaw by Linda Layden.
