This is a very true statement.Another good point is that he points out what HE considers an items weekness as well. Some people on Youtube are just Fanboys with nothing negative to say about whatever it is they are reviewing.
That's called keeping it real. And keeping it real always busts somebody's bubble eventually. I swear, I don't know how those people make it living in their little bubble world.world.Hey, don't forget the fanboys of the ESEE Cult too! We usually hurt their feelings somewhere down the line though
That's what i like about you Jeff,
You tell it like it is.
You show your preference for a machete .
Not doing this advertise talk for the Junglas.
The Junglas is a good knife.
But for some tasks there are better options.
Same with the ESEE-5.
I know the Mora (i have 5 of them) does easier job with small tasks. But not for tougher jobs.
I like my ESEE-5's.
It is a tough knife. And sharp.
Also, why don't people like the fact that it's 41 minutes long. The people on this forum love blades. And spend tons of time readIng up on them lookIng at them. Evidenced by many people post# well into the hundreds if not thousands. So the more the better.
Do people have such ADD that they can't watch a short TV program?
It's not about having or not having ADD. If I watch a knife review, I want to hear about the knife and not hear the word "tactical" or "dudes" 200 times every 10 minutes, embedded political opinions, "sheep dog" talk or anything else. You're reviewing a knife? Let's hear it then, leave out the superfluous, unrelated garbage please. I enjoy his older videos, when they were about the knives/guns/gear and not about everything else.
I much more value the varied opinions of people on the forums in regards to a potential purchase. Many members on here make excellent videos reviewing the knives strengths and weaknesses, value, etc. without taking close to an hour of my time while putting me to sleep.
