Nutnfancy's take on the Junglas

Must of been something to get himself banned. Folks seem pretty easy going for the most part.

Cliff was a regular Einstein. He'd tell you that too. Had a bachelors degree in operating a grocery store cash register or something like that.

Thanks. BTW: I like your poetry/song style of writing. :D
thank you, :)
It's not about having or not having ADD. If I watch a knife review, I want to hear about the knife and not hear the word "tactical" or "dudes" 200 times every 10 minutes, embedded political opinions, "sheep dog" talk or anything else. You're reviewing a knife? Let's hear it then, leave out the superfluous, unrelated garbage please. I enjoy his older videos, when they were about the knives/guns/gear and not about everything else.

I much more value the varied opinions of people on the forums in regards to a potential purchase. Many members on here make excellent videos reviewing the knives strengths and weaknesses, value, etc. without taking close to an hour of my time while putting me to sleep.
I agree that he pushes his political views, and his sheep dog talk way too much.So I'm the sheep ,or is he the sheep with gun ?Or am i the dog without the gun.

I can think for myself about this world we live in.
There are nowadays more and more knife reviewers.Sometimes even a kid(and surprisingly good too).I love all that.
The more the better. It's also nice to see all the different styles of people showing their knives.
I love the diversity.
ADD has nothing to do with me not wanting to watch 41 minutes of a knife, gun, blow-up doll, the latest dildo or anything else being reviewed. I simply have better things to do with my time. I don't see what the big debate is. If you like watching it, fine. No one is saying you shouldn't.
A friend of mine told me yesterday that he doesn't watch porn on his computer on purpose.
If he would he would be sitting behind it until 04:00 in the morning .

Imagine.
There are people being worse than me

In the end he left my house with a dvd from my 'little collection' to watch together with his wife.
Couple that with the fact that his personality rubs me, the way he talks and the like drives me a bit nuts.
He does have a certain style of talking.I can understand if that makes the hair stand up.
But I won't say anything about that.
For I'm not perfect either:eek:

Stiff Clamp is a legend though.....

I read on this forum that he is considered a bit of a person with a 'different' opinion.
Is he gone then?
I have seen many posts of him. Some were interesting ,some were, his opinion.

Cliff Stamp was a phantom. Not a real person. He floated around and came up with even the most complex math equations to justify our very existence in the world. He was an Einstein. A genius, I tell ya. So is Cliff Stamp still out there? I'm sure he is. He's roaming the world and saving the people wherever injustice is being done.

Sounds like a Genius Loki.

His 'wisdom' on knives betrayed here now and then were often beyond my knowledge.

I know a little.Not much :)

Stiff Clamp wasn't just about "wisdom" man. He was a God. A guru. He was the beginning and the end. The ying and the yang.

good review, and yes, I skipped around a lot.

It would be nice to find a dealer that actually had one in stock though.

WOW !

talking about poetry.

These words of you reminds me of the movie Apocalypse Now.

Where that hippy reporter talks about col.Kurtz as if he is some kind of God,

and it goes like this:

"--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Photojournalist:

What are they gonna say about him? What are they gonna say? That he was a kind man? That he was a wise man? That he had plans, man? That he had wisdom? Bullshit, man!

or this:

Willard: Could we, uh... talk to Colonel Kurtz?

Photojournalist:

Hey, man, you don't talk to the Colonel. You listen to him. The man's enlarged my mind. He's a poet warrior in the classic sense. I mean sometimes he'll... uh... well, you'll say "hello" to him, right? And he'll just walk right by you. He won't even notice you. And suddenly he'll grab you, and he'll throw you in a corner, and he'll say, "Do you know that 'if' is the middle word in life? If you can keep your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you, if you can trust yourself when all men doubt you"... I mean I'm... no, I can't... I'm a little man, I'm a little man, he's... he's a great man! I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across floors of silent seas... "

That's Cliff Stamp right there. And to think they banned him from BFs. Makes me want to get pissed and blow up the server.

This amused me -- is that really what you meant to type, or did you mean "Genius Loci"?

If it was a typo - good post.
If you did it on purpose, even more kudos for the irony.
:D

This Cliff Stamp sounds like an interesting guy, I wonder if he's still out there...

Wow you are quite one demanding customer. Nutnfancy who takes quite a bit of his own time to make these reviews to share his experiences with others had better shape up and tailor his videos to meet your personal expectations or else you will, gasp, enlighten and alert the world as to how lousy his vids are.

Thank you I am now right away (immediately) going elsewhere to get reviews. This is one warning that his saved my life and moral welfare.

Nutnfancy is one of the better reviewers out there and it doesn't even cost me anything to learn from his videos.

His way of talking can get to be a bit much, but I think alot of people don't understand his whole idea of what he is doing. It's called "The Nutnfancy Project" for a reason. It isn't just about Gun and Knife reviews, it's about philosphy of life leasons as well, and if people bothered to actually watch some of the other video's they would understand a little better.

I fail to see what all this silly emotion is over his videos. I'm simply not going to watch a 41 minute review of the Junglas or any other knife. Doesn't mean I'm gonna go plant C4 in nut's septic tank though. I could give the first shit one way or the other. It seems like people debating the pros and cons of nut brings more hostile feelings than people debating knives or something. Damn!

His stuff isn't for everyone no doubt. I watch what I enjoy, and skip stuff I don't. Some gets lengthy for sure.

I find his presentation of the Junglas focused on the how useful it is for outdoor survivalist who need a short, lightweight, easy to carry, and versatile knife that is capable of minor chopping and batoning in addition to other normal knife uses.

His reasoning was very well presented and his logic was sound. His actual demonstrations provided good support for his views.

What the video did not do despite what others may imply or claim was dismiss different methods that may work for others. His video made it clear they were his views and he did a very good job of explaining and demonstrating why.

I have to thank him for the efforts expended to share his experiences with others.

Did he actually say "outdoor survivalist" or was this your summary.

Just got my Junglas but noticed right out of the box that the kydex seems to attach backwards on to the backing! the d ring type swivel on snap retaining strap that you would want on blade side. so the strap drops away from cutting edge on withdrawing the knife from sheath. seems to be on the wrong side. the junglas wants to cut away at it's strap every time it's taken out. I took kydex off and reversed along with sliding tension screw. but now if i wear on my right side its set up for a cross draw. it's backwards if i draw with my right. surprised nutn didn't mention this! Did anyone else find this odd or am I completely missing something?

i know exactly what you're referring to. the strap with the d-ring on mine is facing the knife edge side because i'm a lefty...take that, righties! :D
