Decided to add some detail to the handle of this spoon I carved from wild Black Cherry wood. The bowl of the spoon was carved with a Mora 164S, everything else was done with my Buck 124 Frontiersman. I still have not sanded and oiled the spoon, so it’s unfinished.

Sprint Pro just arrived today - wasn’t expecting it til Monday - thank you, KC!

First few flips were very stiff - like I started looking for a secret lock somewhere, because it didn’t want to budge. Finally got that telltale ‘snick’, and after a few minutes of fidgeting, it’s now nice and smooth. And I need a cigarette. It’s even nicer in person than the pics would indicate. Damn near perfect size, weight, and feel in the hand. This one is definitely going to be spending a lot of time in my pocket. First impressions, not having actually used it yet, are that Buck knocked this one out of the park.
