No, we weren't dressed for wading through water (there was what appeared to be about 2 feet of it but it was so clear it was hard to tell, and there was another intact warning sign that basically said 'extremely dangerous abandoned mine shaft' with a picture of falling boulders landing on a stick person.
It was convincing enough to listen to, we may go back in the summer when there's less water, but we were content to chill outside.

Well, I don't cave and I don't spelunk. I don't mind going into caves where there are guided tours but I have a claustrophobia issue with getting in really tight spaces. I can barely handle working on plumbing under low-riding pier-and-beam houses. Good thing my house has 2 to 3 feet of clearance around the plumbing.
