As a youngster in Florida, these green snakes would weave themselves in the chainlink fence to sun. It took a little effort to get them loose but they were fun once we had them in hand.Baby Black Rat I found chilling in the shade. Its pattern looks more like a Gray Rat but I am on the Eastern edge of the Appalachians, so...it should not be??
